Skills Required:
- Candidates must be good at Java programming and OOAD concepts, basic OS concepts
- Should have good analytical skills – approach to solving puzzle/real problem
- Exposure to manual testing and tools like QC/QTP.
- Basic knowledge of the automation tools like JUnit and the features of it and how to use them( SOAP UI / Silk Performer )
- Check for interest to work in sustaining role along with manual and automation QA responsibilities
Work Experience:
- Check for exposure to networking domain
- Exposure to multithreading concepts – narrate exposure and specific examples
- Exposure to memory profiling tools- narrate exposure and specific examples
- Identify reusable functions that improve the robustness, reusability and maintainability of their test scripts
- Maintain automation scripts in test harness/test management tools – narrate exposure and specific examples
